Reviews
I loved this story just as much as I did the other ones. well done Syd, bring on the next book. I could picture Catcleugh and the surrounding area, the detail was great. I have to say that I was pleased when certain characters got their comeuppance
The authors first book The Fourth lad gives a grounding to the follow on Heroes books. From a Working Class Family upbringing his tails of life through his own life keep you enthralled.Beautifully written and illustrated in his own fair hand.Once you are drawn in it is very hard to put down any of his books. From very humble begginings life for this Author took a deep swerve in later life.
Yet another wonderfully written book. I couldn't put it down. The storyline was brilliant bringing characters back from the previous book. I am wondering if the information on the characters at the end is leading up to a sequel Syd?
Another 5* book from Syd. These books would make excellent TV dramas.
Can’t wait for the next one 👍🏻
